Ziggy was a gentle, light-orange ginger cat whose presence brought endless joy to his family. Sadly, he had passed away, and his best friend wanted to commission a special ginger cat figurine as a surprise gift — a way to keep Ziggy’s memory alive.

The client shared several old, slightly faded photos of Ziggy — some where he was standing, some sitting, and one where he was peacefully lying down. We began by sketching the sculpture based on Ziggy’s relaxed pose. Every tiny curve — the arch of his back, the tuck of his paws, the tilt of his head — was shaped with care.
